This one is a new category that I am really interested in. Desktop CNC machines are small Computer Numeric Control machines which can be used to mill a variety of materials into desired shapes. The machine that I use is called OtherMill Pro. Unfortunately, it is only a 3-Axes CNC machine, so it can only move the tool up and down and sidewards. No other angular modification is possible (for now). Hence it can mostly create extrusions of shapes by “digging” through the materials.
